     Dominical is a small, relatively undeveloped town located on Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coastline.  Lush jungle surrounds local restaurants, stores, and fruit stands while iguanas sunbathe near the gravel road that runs through the center of town.  Dominical is also a surfer’s paradise with its long sandy beaches and reputation for consistent waves.  Unlike many heavily populated tourist destinations, in Dominical you can avoid the crowds and enjoy a peaceful ocean sunset or a sky brimming with stars after a long day of training.
